![Text Box: Many things have happened in the past year. Over sixty different youth have come to our meetings. Our normal meetings have a regular attendance of 30 or more. But even with the miraculous growth in the number of youth my heart is not satisfied. American Christianity has become nothing more than a list of do's and don'ts that bring discouragement and defeat to everyone except the proud one teaching it. I refuse to teach these kids this kind of Christianity! These kids have not seen God's presence and power in their homes; as a matter of fact most of what they see Hollywood and the rock bands show them; and the rest of what they see is selfish parents either fighting, fussing, cursing, smoking, drinking, never reading the word of God, never praying, cheating, lying, stealing, hating, backbiting, gossiping, fornicating, murmuring, or complaining. These children's parents have either ignored or forgotten about the power of God to heal, forgive, bring true and lasting peace, set people free from the bondage of sin, give life and more abundantly, SATISFY! I want to teach these children that God is not a political machine but a person who wants to deliver and to bring true happiness. Only one catch..... they must want it more than anything.

And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple. -
Are you this way? If you answered - YES - I would like to give you a test of your sincerity - throw out all of your televisions, just chunk them. The number one idol in America is television (including when it's just the news you watch!) Throw it out if you are sincere about giving all to God.
I long for the return of desperate and repentant Christianity!!
